    The community room is beautiful. Maintenance is fast and friendly. The place is quiet, well managed and well priced. The pool is very inviting. It’s exactly what a person needs.

  • I love living at Windridge Village

    I have had an excellent living experience here at Windridge. We moved into our apartment August 2019 and are currently living here. Maintenance is super efficient and the grounds are maintained well. Our community hallways are cleaned once a week. Neighbors are friendly. Definitely recommend to anyone in search of apartments in Valparaiso area :)

    I have lived here for about 3 months now, and I have loved every day of it. As a student, I need my sleep (when I can get it), and this community is so quiet and respectful, I have never had any issues with getting the rest I need. The staff are accommodating, personal, and care about you. Great place to live.

    I have lived at Windridge Village Apts for 3 years and I have been very happy with my apartment. The office staff is friendly and courteous. The Windridge leasing agent, Carol, is very caring and is quick to resolve any problems and put work orders in for maintenance issues. The Maintenance staff is outstanding. They go out of their way to fix any problems in a timely manner. There is always someone on call which is very comforting for after hours emergencies. My water heater went out on a Sunday ...
    morning and someone was here to fix it within an hour. The apartments are very reasonably priced for Valparaiso. Windridge is centrally located and is close to stores and restaurants. It is also pet friendly. My dog loves it here! There is also a Resident Portal online which makes paying rent fast and easy. The staff of Windridge and Compass Pointe have resident appreciation gatherings throughout the year for residents of Windridge Village and Compass Pointe. I think that is such a nice gesture and I've enjoyed attending them. Overall, I would highly recommend Windridge Village. It is a great place to live. Debra Wiggins

  • Good apartment, bad manager

    I lived at windridge for 1.5 years. The apartments themselves are nice, well located, and reasonably priced, however after some issues with the management I would never be able to recommend that anyone live there, or Compass Pointe (managed by same company.) My 3rd month living there they lost my rent check, and after repeatedly emailing them, I was assured that the problem would be handled, they had the check, and I would not be responsible for any late fees the had placed on my account (even ...
    after I had shown them a receipt.) 11 months later, I was told that I could no longer pay rent by check, as my last check had bounced (not true,) and late fees began to accrue after my "non payment." After 5 visits to the office, I finally managed to get to the root of the problem- the lost check from now over a year ago. Once this was figured out the office manager accused me of knowingly not paying my rent a year earlier (dispite my MULITPLE attempts at communicating the issue) and was rude and unhelpful about the issue. In my records, it showed that they actually took money from a DIFFERENT account applied it to MY account. That money then got taken OUT of my account (the manager then accused me of having the money in my bank, and demanded that I show her my bank statements for the last 3 months.) After many visits, being accused of mulitible things, and having them LOSE MY CHECK, I would strongly recommend that you do NOT LIVE HERE. They are not reponible with your money, and are rude and unhelpful.
