Especially Valerie, she is the most professional and nicest apartment manager you’ll ever meet. Walking around the complex you’ll first notice how well-kept everything is since the staff makes sure everything is well maintained. There’s A LOT of amenities: in-unit washer/dryer, storage, big patio, central cooling, dishwasher, swimming pool, hot tub, BBQ area, tennis court, basketball court, racquetball court, business center, fitness center and playground. All these amenities make a greater experience when you have company over. My nieces loved to spend their winter/summer breaks here and enjoyed all the amenities especially the pool and basketball court. The area is safe. It’s next door to an elementary school, residential area and walking trail. I work from home so it’s nice to have ambient sounds coming from the kids during recess and the trail is good for an afternoon run. There are a few downsides however. Tenants with one bedroom apartments are only allowed one parking space so my wife and I had to always coordinate the parking. There is a lot of guest parking, however, that gets filled up quickly in the evening and weekends. I wish they would sell some spaces because there was A LOT of guest parking available that could have been sold. However, as mentioned before, we are in a residential area so there is plenty of street parking. All in all, this is a great place to live. It’s not going to be perfect, it is an apartment after all, but it’s one of the better apartments to live in. The prices of “luxury apartments” near Victoria Gardens are $500 more than this place and have about the same type of amenities and experience. I highly recommend Woodbend apartments as a comfortable place to live.
