My mother lived here for several years and enjoyed her time at Woodlea. The first big plus was the elevators because she previously lived in a 2nd floor apartment and wouldn't leave due to the stair difficulty. The second huge benefit was that residents get alert buttons to wear so that, if pressed, other residents would call or report to the distressed resident to assess the situation (falls, dizziness, etc) and then call the appropriate authorities. are also pet friendly, have a small trail to a forested area, have a community room, an outdoor courtyard, a library, a media room, and a food program. The residents are kind and the management is excellent. The management really cares about each resident and does what they can to make their time at Woodlea pleasant and easy. This was a perfect place for my mom to be in her older years - surrounded by friends and caring staff in a safe setting.
