After living at Woodscape Apartments (4200 N Meridian Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73112) for a full decade, recent management decisions have forced us to move when our lease comes up for renewal at the end of May.
For several MONTHS we dealt with no workable hot water, which made everyday life extremely difficult. When it was time to discuss renewal terms, management flat-out refused to negotiate anything at all.

the status of the hot water, or other issues, and only worked toward getting the issue resolved when I called code enforcement. The issue persisted for months before I finally had no choice but to do so out of frustration. Now that we are moving out at the end of our term they also refused to accept our notice to vacate stating that breaking our lease will result in extra fees. Our lease ends in may and we are leaving in may, but they refuse to even discuss the terms.
Ten years of being a reliable tenant apparently counted for nothing. Between the ongoing maintenance failures and the complete lack of flexibility on lease renewals, we had no choice but to leave. If you’re thinking about renting here, I strongly recommend looking at other complexes instead! These issues are not worth the frustration on top of the premium rates they are charging.
