It is a lavish display of many varieties of flora and fauna both native and from abroad. The garden is so lavish, in fact, that there have been many critics speak out against the striking collection of plants and flowers. Even if you're one of the Boston apartment residents who finds the collections brash and bawdy the visit is worth your time simply for the heady scents. Boston apartment residents find the Public Gardens are the perfect place to go on so many occasions. Stop by after lunch for a quick stroll before heading back to the office. Bring a date or come alone. Schedule a day with the garden club from your Boston apartment community. There is a lot to see and do no matter how much time you have to spend. View the lagoon and the swan boats that have been here since the early days. Paddle around the lagoon and watch the fish and birds. Check out the fountains, monuments and memorials.
