Though driving is always an option, finding other ways to get around using public transit is just as effective here in our Sunny town!

Interstate Highway 10 runs straight through Indio and branches off into CA-86 that runs south. You also have highway 111 that runs parallel to Highway 10 to the south. The commute to work is generally dictated by traffic in the mornings and evenings. However, there isn't a lot of traffic since Indio is out of the way of most major cities. While you may experience rush hour traffic at peak hours, it will not be severe as a major city such as Austin, TX or Los Angeles, CA.

You can also visit Desert Hot Springs to relax and take a dip in some soothing waters that will help you take the edge off if you're feeling stressed!
