When you live in such a fun and exciting city like Los Angeles, after a while things can be very exhausting for an apartment-ite. That's why every LA apartment resident needs to find some place where they can take it easy and relax, and escape from the all the crowds and sounds of the big city, and enjoy a calm, cool afternoon. The Exposition Rose Garden gives visitors just such an opportunity, just a short distance from the bustle of downtown. Stepping into the garden is almost like stepping into another world, leaving the loud, crowded world of the city behind you, and entering a place of peace and tranquility. It's almost like stepping on to sacred ground. The first thing you'll notice when you arrive is all the beautiful colors that greet you, with so many different types of roses filling the paths, of every color the rainbow. For a place to relax, take a seat in the gazebo, or take a walk over to the gorgeous fountain which lies at the middle of the garden. The park was opened in the mid to late-nineteen twenties, and walking through, you'll notice that not much has changed over the years, keeping the feel of a tranquil oasis amongst the maddening crowd, full of beauty and wonder. It's difficult to explore the beauty of nature in the heart of the city, but the Exposition Rose Garden allows visitors a chance to do that very thing.
