Considered one of the best free places for family to have fun in the entire city, the Henry Vilas Zoo is a fully functional zoo, full of every animal a curious person living in a Madison apartment would want to see, but without the high price of admission. This is especially a treat for those with apartments near the Henry Vilas Zoo, since they can come down and take a gander at their favorite animal friends without having to spend a dime. Just because the zoo is free, it doesn't mean that they skimp on the amount of animals.
