If a problem arises, tenants have to try to fix the problem themselves first before asking the landlord for help. 10. If for any reason the tenant needs to meet with the landlord in person (such as to investigate problems), the tenant must be willing to meet with the landlord in the morning or noon (because the landlord works in the evening). Mondays would be the only exception to meet in the afternoon or evening. 11. The tenant needs good communication skills. If something major has happened or is about to happen such as losing employment or have accidentally damaged something, the tenant needs to communicate to the landlord right away.
