The zoo itself features creatures from Africa to Siberia, and even in the US from California to Florida. People who live in Minneapolis apartments will be thoroughly entertained by the wide variety of animals. Not only do they have the typical giraffes, zebras, lions and monkeys found in many zoos across America, but they go beyond. Here, you'll find polar bears and penguins, bison and reindeer and beautiful grey wolves. The Bird Yard in the summertime and the Tropical Encounters Exhibit will "WOW' you with the colorful array of plumage and other animal outer coverings. When Como Zoo apartment's visitors make their trip to the park, they'll get to take part in all the usual zoo amenities as well, such as a carousel, a Garden Safari gift shop and good eats. You may choose from burgers and fries at Zooper Foods to salads and grilled sandwiches at the café. Part of the park is the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory, an incredible greenhouse building that houses breathtaking gardens. You have got to make a trip from your Minneapolis-St. Paul apartments to this beautiful attraction. It's free to get into both the zoo and the conservatory, so why not go by this weekend? Open 10 am to 6 pm through Labor Day, and until 4 pm during fall, winter and spring. And if the zoo isn't enough for you and your friends from Como Zoo apartments, Como Lake and Como Town Amusement Park are right next door.
