Online poker is certainly a blast, but nothing beats the thrill of facing the odds at a real table, using your skill, wits and natural acting ability to try and beat the competition. Well, we've never been the type to bluff, pal - so shut off your computer, hit the lights in your apartment and head out for some real "deal" competition at the Hard Rock Casino. A relatively new establishment, the Hard Rock nevertheless lives up to the lofty promise of its brand name. Featuring over 90,000 square feet of entertainment, this hotel / casino / nightclub combo boasts over a half dozen restaurants (with cuisine ranging from sushi and steak to endless buffets), a gigantic swimming pool, a full resort spa facility and numerous bars with live entertainment (ranging from headlining comedians to national music acts). Any gamer will tell you though the true test of a casino is its variety of tables, and from the moment you enter the guitar-laden great room it quickly becomes obvious that the Hard Rock is a far from modest setup. Poker tables, Blackjack tables, Baccarat setups and slot machines stretch for as far as the eye can see, with high stakes private rooms available for the big spenders (and potential winners) and $1 video poker machines aplenty for the just-for-fun sect. The hotel rooms are similarly swank, although with a variety of price options ensuring you won't have to break the bank for a big weekend out. Still, in the Hard Rock everyone is a star, and even the smaller rooms still have a big-time feel. Just do everyone a favor and find a way to keep from throwing the television out the window...
