Over the years, it has made many of the top 100 lists of best places to live as well as one of the best Hipster Cities in 2014 and 2015. This is due to the combination of great people, great food, and a fun loving and inclusive culture.
There are a lot of things that make West Des Moines a special place to live, and that starts with Historic Valley Junction. It is a great place to shop or relax at a cafe. Add to that, the variety of companies to work for, and you've got a great town for both business and fun. Situated in the Raccoon River valley, the area provides lots of places to enjoy the great outdoors especially in the summer months. Finally, you won't find nicer or more welcoming people anywhere.
