January 22, 2025 - Reseña de Apartments.comI've lived in Newport Lake for more than six years; it was fantastic at first, but not so much now days. I never complain and I'm a quiet person , but I have a limit when I see roaches! In November, I began to notice roaches. Since then, I've used foggers twice and the exterminator has sprayed twice. Now that January has arrived, I've observed more than six in a 24-hour period. The leasing manager seemed to be unavailable whenever I went to the leasing office to voice my concerns. In the end, I ...had to email her to voice my concerns. Every time I had a complaint, the leasing office made it sound like I was to blame, even though I know that's untrue given how long I've been living here. Because the exterminator failed to locate live activity, the leasing management refused to let me out of my lease without charging me termination costs even though the issue hasn’t been resolved. I even tried to escalate the situation to corporate and I had no luck reaching them. My worry of things getting worse has forced me to spend more money than I technically have to break a lease.Leer MásProperty Manager Responded

You won’t be able to afford living here by the second year
February 23, 2024 - Reseña de Apartments.comWhen I moved in in May 2021, I could actually afford to live here. This place will increase the rent every year like clockwork. They will make sure you cannot afford to live here by your second year. I’ve been here for three years. I have never seen them upgrade anything but my rent has constantly went up every year. They don’t even upgrade or replace these early 2000’s appliances in the apartment.
The five star reviewers have low standards.

She will have your car towed without proper signs up. In this place the quality of life doesn't matter. During my stay a car got shot up and still they raised the rent. If you have a problem they will blow it off or tell you to go fix it yourself. They won't give you the number to the corporate office. August 31, 2021 - Reseña de Apartments.comOn August 7th my washing machine stopped working. As of August 31st it is still down and the office refuses to fix it saying they are only doing emergency work. Well apparently the empty apartment below me needing to be renovated qualifies as an emergency. No compensation for not having a washer either. I would not recommend this place unless your only other option is being homless. Whats worse is the management company for the place doesn't return calls or answer their phone.

No fish, just turtles and frogs. Disrespectful neighbors that are very noisey, they blast loud music ,slam unit doors, fight each other, the smell of urine and marijuana in the hallways and coming from the units. Inept and unprofessional management who only care about the rent and not the residents. Also, l was ...charged for made up unit damages, due to moving out early by ALLIE. Maintenance staff always professional and yes even after hours and weekends and holidays when and emergency or something even something simple to fix. They are huge.. the staff are all super friendly from the Rental office ladies to the housekeeping and maintenance team. & the lake is just an added bonus. My family loves coming over so we can cook out there when the weather is nice. The pool is clean and spacious. I don’t plan on leaving anytime soon.Property Manager Responded
