I've lived in Newport Lake for more than six years; it was fantastic at first, but not so much now days. I never complain and I'm a quiet person , but I have a limit when I see roaches! In November, I began to notice roaches. Since then, I've used foggers twice and the exterminator has sprayed twice. Now that January has arrived, I've observed more than six in a 24-hour period. had to email her to voice my concerns. Every time I had a complaint, the leasing office made it sound like I was to blame, even though I know that's untrue given how long I've been living here. Because the exterminator failed to locate live activity, the leasing management refused to let me out of my lease without charging me termination costs even though the issue hasn’t been resolved.
I even tried to escalate the situation to corporate and I had no luck reaching them. My worry of things getting worse has forced me to spend more money than I technically have to break a lease.
