Renters Reviews and Ratings
has potential
March 2, 2026there's no coax outlets run in the building and after fighting for hours with different internet providers I'm forced to use a 5g wall plugin device for an above market price or, what I've opted to use, tethering my phone. Coming from a background in residential construction this seems like an oversight. The walls are paper thin which to me says the insulation could be sub par. That leads me to my next gripe that the hydro bill is kind of insane being roughly $250 for a 1 bedroom apartment. Now ...everything is electric the the place the heating, water heater (hot water lasts about 10 minutes in the shower) the A/C dishwasher ect. to put that in perspective a full 2 story house of someone I know that charges 2 EV has gas heating but electric appliances pays about $170 a month in utilities with four people living there. so I suspect insulation plays a factor in the higher price and I don't visibly see any heating the the hallway thought I could be wrong. The reno seems very rushed witch aligns with the fact that it was done so quickly. The rent itself is on par with the market with a number of existing places near by that are lower quality at least as far as visual appeal. the gym is great though was not completely set up but mostly set up and didn't take much for me to rectify setting up what I use. This is a huge benefit to anyone who works out regularly because everything is new and as good as any gym membership. The elevator as of right now does not work and hasn't since I moved in but I know they are working on it and have communicated such. In summary it seems to save time and likely money they opted to cut corners resulting in higher utilities and poor internet options but the price of rent is relatively reasonable and hopefully the can at the very least rectify the internet situation to make it a four star review instead of 3.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
