I used to live at 800 summer street apt#209. I will never forget 800 Summer Street l. It was the best time of my life. The building is very clean. The neighbors are very polite. The building is always quiet and peaceful. The management is very responsive something needs repair. It will get fixed immediately. I highly recommend 800 Summer Street to anyone looking for an apartment in the Stamford area.
Worst Washing Machines. Unresponsive Management Company

The washing machines are extremely old. They can barely fit a full load. They do not wash all of the detergent out of your clothes. The apartment will not replace these machines that are complete garbage. Why advertise a service that is inadequate?
Garden Homes Management does not respond to e-mails or snail mail. They are a bloated company that runs a lot of apartment buildings but does not address concerns of tenants. It is sad that tenants are ignored because it is a money grab for them.

Thank you for letting us know about the issues you had with the washing machines at 800 Summer Street. In fact, the machines at 800 Summer Street are top-of-the-line, high efficiency, large-capacity commercial washing machines, all were brand new when the building was opened less than 7 years ago, and are serviced regularly by our dedicated professional laundry care staff. Despite our best efforts, machinery will break down. Too much soap gets put in for the size of the wash, or too many clothes crammed into a washer. Or just normal wear and tear on parts. When that happens, our online Maintenance Request System is available 24/7 for you to request service. Our email contact line is monitored during regular business hours. "Snail mail" would take too long for us to be notified in a timely manner, so I do not suggest that option. There's no benefit to Garden Homes to have non-working machines causing frustrated tenants - it's best for us to get the machines back in good working ...

We are very sorry that you are unhappy with the laundry care center at 800 Summer Street. The equipment is state-of-the-art, so there would be no reason to replace them. Even with our scheduled regular maintenance, any machine will malfunction from time to time, especially with many residents using them frequently. All the machines are numbered so if you do have an issue, you can just submit it through the tenant electronic Maintenance Request Line and our technicians will address it. Thank you for your feedback.
