"Beach Hill Court" is a collection of small studio and one bedroom stand-alone apartments- each unit it a separate stucco cottage- all bound together by one sprawling garden, which is maintained by the on-site groundskeeper.
Built in the '20's, these sweet little spaces are full of charming elements- original glass doorknobs, stained glass front door windows, and built-in hallway telephone nooks. They are relatively wel insulated, have many windows, and all utilities are taken care of by the ...
owner who, by the way, is extremely respectful and truly never a bother.
The neighbors range from professional 20- and 30-something singles and couples, to professors to retirees. Many neighbors are social around the complex and are all vigilant about maintaining the warm and welcoming aesthetic of the property.
Besides being just a block from the ocean, shopping, and a short walk downtown, these apartments are listed below market price by at least a few hundred dollars per month in an effort to keep good residents rather than simply wealthy ones. They are absolute gems- if you see one of these spaces up for grabs, do yourself a favor and try to beat the rest of Santa Cruz to it!
