About Bloomwood Apartments

Now under new management, we are a vibrant and up-and-coming apartment community in the heart of Columbia. Our property consists of 72 apartment homes which are a mix of one and two-bedroom units. We are conveniently located just off of Devine Street on Blossom near a variety of shopping centers and restaurants. We are also just next door to the Midlands Technical College Beltline Campus. We have recently undergone numerous renovation projects including a resurfaced parking area, new roofing, updated common spaces and rehabilitated living interiors with new flooring, HVAC, lighting, paint, and much much more!

I went to see the apartment in hopes of moving in and found the complex looks nothing like the picture that the property manager kept pushing to look at on line the shutters are falling off/ the paint from the shutters which is black is running down the wall then there are about 20 units fenced off in the back of the complex looking like they need to be torn down the explanation from management is the rent is low for a good reason and

I've been living out here for almost a year and a half now and I'm VERY satisfied with my apartment, landlord, neighbors, and the convenient location. The most important thing to me is that the landlord is extremely serious about making sure that her tenants are living in a safe environment. Also, the maintenance crew responds in a timely fashion and makes sure that you are satisfied with their work. We're really happy we found Bloomwood Apartments because we have no intention on moving again.

Nasty cockroach infested

When I first moved in they did a walk through than the next day I went to move my stuff in I saw a huge cockroach now I'm from out of state and this was a huge issue I had asked one of the maintenance people if they spray for bugs they said they do but in my contract it says we are responsible for spraying etc. as time went on I saw more more and more I went to buy a pest spray for outdoor and indoor protection still seeing a bunch in the kitchen bathroom living room all over

Very nice apartment with lots of room. I love huge walk in closet. New management is very friendly. Maintenance staff is very prompt with requests. Great location as I can walk to Midlands tech and all stores. I will recommend this complex to anyone.
