Review date: 2021-09-13 I chose Camden Brookwood largely because of the star ratings and reviews on Apartments.com. Anytime you sign a lease, you're taking a risk, but I felt it was a more calculated risk because I had the reviews and ratings to help me decide if the downsides were deal-breakers for me. I've been in the new apartment for a little over a month, now. We're in a top-floor apartment in the 2000 building. The layout is called the Sundial, and has a spiral staircase and a loft inside ...

the apartment. You can find a walkthrough on YouTube that shows it. The move-in experience has been pretty smooth. The folks in the leasing office are wonderful, especially Dani and Tara. There weren't any "surprises," which was a pleasant surprise. The unit, itself, is very quiet. Since we're a top floor unit, I can't say if the sound insulation is good between floors, but it is quite good between units. I've heard our next door neighbor only once (and it was when she was singing quite beautifully... I had to strain to hear her, though!). Outside the apartments, we have some people with muscle cars or modified mufflers that make a lot of noise. They don't tend to be audible but for a few minutes in the mornings, though. I've also been able to hear music coming through the windows before, but pretty much only on Friday nights and not for a terribly long time. And it's quiet enough that it's only bothersome if I don't have any music or TV on. I haven't used the amenities outside of the dog park so far because we're still moving in and because of COVID, but am looking forward to starting to do so in the near future. I will try to remember to come back and update this review if things change in the future.

DO NOT MOVE HERE. I relocated from San Francisco to these apartments 2 months ago and it has been the worst experience I have ever had with an apartment complex. I'm now having to look into paying to break my lease, although all of my CONSISTENT complaints over the last 2 months have been well documented. Called corporate for help - they promised to follow up with me and I never heard from them. (1) BUGS BUGS BUGS - if you don't like bugs, don't move here. They are everywhere all the time. Pest ...

control is a joke. They spray chemicals into your home that are toxic for pets & leave sticky pads everywhere. It's not consistent and you have to keep asking for them to come, or they will just stop. (2) Security is an issue - there have been several car break ins, an auto theft and an attempted home robbery in the TWO MONTHS I have been here. Right now, there's a truck in the garage that has been sitting on bricks with a busted window for at least 2 weeks. (3) The dog park STINKS. Literally makes me gag when I walk by it. Mind you, I'm walking by on the 3rd floor breezeway to my building - the dog park is on the ground level. That's how bad it stinks. And don't get me started on parking here. (4) Construction all the time, everywhere. I'm listening to them hammer on the wall next to me right now. Yelling, banging, dust and debris all over the building. (5) Packages get stolen all the time. There is no secure package system and I've had one package taken. Other residents report all the time on the community page about their packages being taken. (6) Technology package is terrible. My internet is constantly buffering and it took me two weeks to get the cable turned on. Look somewhere else. I regret the day I moved in here.

This community offers the best value out of all the communities we looked at. It's a great location in the heart of Atlanta, the management company has a wonderful repuation, and cable, internet, laundry machines, trash collection EVERY night, and 24 hour service is all included. I have lived at Camden Brookwood a little over one year. They have a great leasing/maintenance staff, and the location is prime. I would recommend living here to anyone. Just like any other apartment complex, yes you have to pay a application fee and stuff.... BUT, out of all the places I have stayed, this one is definitely worth it for sure. Its clutch!

So far I have really enjoyed my time here at Camden Brookwood. The leasing office staff have been very attentive and helpful. They sent me emails and would even call when I first moved in to ensure that I settled in comfortably and was accommodated. The community is mostly young professionals, there are the occasional parties but nothing overbearing. The units themselves are maintained and up-kept. Updated appliances, spacious, and pet friendly. My only cons are only one building has elevators, ...

the others don't (which sucks when you live on the top floor). There isn't much natural light because there aren't a lot of windows, which means higher utility bills. My carpet has a odor from the previous owner (I think from their pet) that hasn't gone away. But other than that, the complex is nice.

This apartment is in a great location to get to midtown, downtown, buckhead, and much more. The apartments are nice, they have all been remodeled fairly recently. There is always parking, and the maintenance team responds very quickly to requests. However, lately there have been break-ins to the apartments and cars in the complex. I love my one bedroom apt. at Camden Brookwood. Although I have one of the smaller floor plans, the space where it matters. I have a huge walk in closet with a huge bathroom. I think the floor plan was well planned out and I absolutely adore my apartment. Camden Brookwood is very quiet, clean and the people in the rental office are very nice and helpful. The maintenance staff are always there to assist. It's a great place to live.

This is the best locale in Atlanta. Walk to the cities best restaurants, drive or uber 5 minutes to midtown or Buckhead. Five minute walk to the belt line. Great place to take your puppies!
