Good place
June 28, 2018Has been a great place to live and just signed a new lease. The location is awesome and management was helpful in working with me on my renewed lease. This area is turning into the better part of downtown and I'm glad I was able to stay for it. Construction for the hotel across looks to be coming along so we are hopefully through the worst of it and it looks like its gonna be cool when it's done. Amber and Merideth have been helpful, the maintenance guys here are hard to beat. Those guys are fast ...and you'll almost always see them here working when you walk in or out. Maintenance is definitely top notch compared to other places I've lived. They have a toll tag pass enter for the garage now so you don't have to mess with those remotes to get in anymore and they added locks to the doors inside it, stoked about that and a big part in my staying. My dog loves the dog park here and it's the best in the neighborhood from what I saw when looking around. Gym is good for my use, not ever too crowded. I recommend a ground floor patio for the big space you get. They have breakfasts sometimes like a hotel which is nice on the weekends so you don't have to leave your place for food. It would be cool to see some cornhole or outside activity in an area for those who aren't pool people. Overall good experience and happy here. Thanks Camden and staff!Property Manager Responded

Love Camden
June 10, 2018I have lived here for quite some time now and can say I truly recommend it. Every place has its pros and cons and I really feel that this place at the end of the day is one of the best. Camden really takes care of their places, as I have been to other ones in the area thinking of transferring for my job and they are also well kept. The staff here has always been pleasant and the manager now is very caring and helpful if you have a problem. Maintenance team here is awesome. They are so fast in ...taking care of any apartment repairs, they work so hard and are always smiling. Jose is wonderful! Camden just added security to the garage and I think that was the last step to make this place great. Package locker or system would be nice too. I have decided no matter if I move for my job or not it will be a Camden.Property Manager Responded

Overall good place
March 21, 2018I have lived here for about a year now and I’m very content. Before moving here I lived solely in a house and wasn’t sure how an apartment was going to fit me. The maintenance is wonderful. They are more than kind and take care of anything you ask. I like being able to visit restaurants close by just walking and the trail right behind the apartments is great for my evening walks after work. They have a neat program here so if you show some places nearby a Camden card you get a discount. The staff ...has been consistently pleasant since day one. The manager is friendly and will help you with whatever you ask, even if it isn't in the realm of apartment management. The community is kept very clean compared to others I‘ve seen in the area, which is no surprise as the gentleman I see outside each day works very hard. They are in the middle of making changes to the garage and I think this will be good for everyone. All in all I couldn’t have picked a better place to live for myself. I’m not a downtown or social person and worried this wouldn’t fit my lifestyle, but I don’t think it matters here. If you are looking for a good home where you know you’ll be taken care of no matter the issue, Camden is it.Property Manager Responded

Awesome place to live!
December 19, 2017I've been at Camden Design District for a little over three months now and every part of living here has been lovely, largely due to the staff. Amber leased to me and was super sweet and helpful during the whole process. I toured 5 other places after coming here but ended up coming back because nothing else compared for the price point I was looking at. When I applied I accidentally mistyped my income which caused my application to get denied and Meredith, the manager, even came out to look at ...everything and figured out what was wrong. It meant a lot that she took the time to look into the issue especially considering it was my mistake. The apartment was in great shape when I moved in and every maintenance request I have put in has been promptly completed and done well. Today, I went in the office around closing to ask a question and met Andrew, the assistant manager. He was the only one in the office at the time and had a line of people waiting on him but he was super friendly and ready to help everyone. I can't say enough how much I've enjoyed calling Camden Design District my home and I recommend anyone looking to move to the Dallas area to check it out.Property Manager Responded

Love the property!
November 7, 2017I visited several locations throughout the design district area and by far Camden was my favorite. They were the most willing to work with my move in schedule, and answered all my questions promptly through email as I’m so busy I don’t have time to call and ask questions as they arise. Current resident review
July 20, 2017This place is top notch. Packages are delivered straight to your door; I love the convenience of being able to get them right when I get home! The cleanliness here is also amazing. You never see any trash, at all. I have never had any issues with security, I feel so incredibly safe here. Don’t even get me started on how awesome the maintenance staff is, and the management here is so open and willing to communicate with you about anything at all, perfect customer service. The gym is also so ...incredibly nice, there is even a yoga area with mats, and again, the fitness center is always so clean, all of the amenities are, and the pool is literally so nice, it’s huge and always clean and ready for use!Property Manager Responded

Safety is an issue.

Perfect location
September 20, 2015I've lived at Camden for almost two years now and I could not be happier. The location is fantastic. So close to uptown and only minutes from downtown. The Design District is growing and there are great awarding winning places to eat right next door. The staff here are friendly and courteous. I appreciate that they enforce the community rules regularly and I've never had an issue with neighbors or noise. They keep the community clean including all amenities and requesting maintenance for ...anything in the apartment is super easy. Not to mention the turn around is quick. FABULOUS IN THE CITY
August 8, 2015If you're lookig for a space to call home that is both spacious and convenient to everything that is young, hip, and modern than Camden Design District is for you! Centrally located near Downtown, Uptown, Trinity Grove and Highland Park; it is the place for UP COMING young professionals. I love the fact that i am less than a 5-10 minute drive from most of the action that makes Dallas spectacular. If i want to catch a maverick game, Stars game, or go to the lastest concert... Im less than 5 ...minutes away. You can take in the breathe taking views of the Dallas skyline at the top of the multi-level gated garage. You are in walking distance from one of dallas top coffee lounge, Ascension, that offers a variety of flavors from around the world. Love brunch, then you can enjoy it alfesco at the awarding winning Meddlesome Moth! The apartment homes are quite spaces and the structure is very sound proof. Which i find to be an asset, when wanting peace in quite after a long days work. If you are in need of maintainance, the staff is right on top of it.. never letting the sun go down without fixing the problem! The front office staff is very curtious and always eager to help! Best bang for your buck apartment in a thriving downtown Dallas Metropolis
July 27, 2015Moving to Dallas from Columbus, Ohio I felt overwhelmed with the apartment search. I wanted to live downtown where the action was but did not want to pay $1200-1300 for a one bedroom apartment that I would rarely be at because of work travel. I came across Camden Design District on apartments.com and quickly knew it was the place I needed to live. A great location downtown with cool views in a good artsy design district neighborhood.
