  • Don’t rent here, it is not luxury

    Over run by drunk, rich college students, management caters to the lack of security (hub cap stolen) continuity of serving all residents, lack of upholding policies, lack of cleanliness, no parking for paying residents - but management has no problem w non residents parking, abused pool area w non residents and non resident dogs, loud vulgar language and music. The website is far from what you’ll experience here. Management is good at doing nothing consistently, no simple efforts to change, just ...
    rewriting a lease or posting a policy on apt shared face book is the extent of their communication. You never see staff walking the grounds, going out of their way from sitting in the office, not recording complaints or who they are from for no follow up. Because there won’t be any. Apt ownership gets there money, you signed it, they have the rights.

  • College Dorm and poor safety

    I was really excited about moving into a nice community apartment complex, you know since it is “Old Town Scottsdale” man I have been disappointed. When I say college dorm, it is by every sense of the word. Loud, obnoxious, entitled young people, I won’t even say adults, live here. Throw up in the hallways, and in the garage. Pet owners do not know how to pickup after themselves when the complex even provides the poop bags, the pet area consistently smells like urine, my dog even has a hard ...
    time going in there and that says a lot because it’s a dog. Residents continuously leave the doors propped open night and day causing serious safety concerns. This has been complained about and even suggested management walk the building during work hours to ensure these doors are closed and they don’t bother. Maintenance is great when it comes to fixing things within your apartment however they have no urgency to fix broken entry doors which again is a safety concern. The garage is another safety concern, people drive crazy, there are no mirrors or speed bumps, which they’re supposed to have and been saying for month that they’ll be installed and still haven’t been. Mind you this complex has been up and running for over a year and that should have been done when the garage was built. They had us put stickers on our cars because of people storing unused vehicles and non residents parking in our garage when they’re not supposed to. Well the sticker thing hasn’t worked because management doesn’t follow up or tow like they said they would. There has been a golf cart and a red truck in the same spot for months I’m looking forward to when my lease is up because this place is not run well for the money you pay.

  • The carter isnt what it seems

    It may seem pretty on the outside, the its actually dirty. The pool area smells, you can find dog poop everywhere, and the garage is dangerous.

  • Great Complex

    April 9, 2018
    We are new Empty Nester's and work in the area, so we gave up the big house for a small 1BR here at Carter. Nice, Quiet building, great area, and brand NEW. Pool area is beautiful, and everything is done very tastefully. I highly recommend checking this out. They are even pet friendly.
