Like it, but it USED to be way better
September 15, 2015When I first moved into these apartments, they were under completely different management and I loved it! The staff was friendly, the maintenance was timely, the grass was mowed every week and the atmosphere was just all around great! A couple of months into my lease, management changed. The people I had come to know in the office were gone,in a blink of an eye, without any warning. Ever since then, rent has went up, there is a new manager and office staff every other week(so it feels like you ...can't really get to know anyone) and work requests take WEEKS to fulfill. Outstanding complex
August 16, 2015This is a great place to be if you appreciate safety and peace and quiet. The grounds are immaculate and it's close to fine shopping and dining. A very recent renovation was performed and it made the place even nicer than it was before. The inside of the apartments have nine foot ceilings with crown molding so, it makes the units seem even larger than are. Champions Centre
July 21, 2015I've lived here for a year and I'm moving. Rent rates always go up the second year but this space isn't really worth it. It isn't a terrible community but if you can afford to do better, go somewhere else. I paid my deposit and fees in mid August with the intent of moving in the second week of September. When I showed up to pick up my keys I was told that my unit wouldn't be ready until the next day. My appliances hadn't been delivered. I had movers scheduled for the next day so the next day ...I went to pick up my keys and someone was cleaning my unit so I went to retrieve the keys from her. My appliances still weren't in the unit. I was told they would be delivered that afternoon; they weren't. Just before closing I went to the office to ask about the appliances and was told they'd be delivered the next day. On my lunch break I went to my apartment and the appliances still weren't there. The office lady said they were on the way. That went on for over two weeks until finally they started bringing the appliances in. They didn't install them right away, they were left in the packaging in the living room. It took two days for them to get installed. The water line wasn't connected so I couldn't get ice or water. They gave me $200 off the next month's rent after I complained every day. There were two ladies I talked to both of whom said they worked at another property and were only helping out but a year lady they're still here, why lie? You can tell the renovations were rushed, there was paint splatter on the floor. The cabinets appear to be spray painted and no tape was used to prevent splatters so there are areas where the paint is all over and on the floor. The fridge is too big for the space it's in so the floor is scraped and there's damage to the wall from squeezing it into the space. The dryer pretty much only dries on the high heat setting. You can hear the people in the unit above you. The doors are attached a bit slanted. The front door isn't sealed very well and spiders and June bugs get in. The air vents aren't situated well so it takes a long time to cool the living room and because the doors aren't sealed the electricity bill will be a bit high.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
