Worse place ever to live if respect is a key

Leaving after my lease is done. Wrote a review that told the truth about how this management does the tenantsat this place and their lawyer threatened to take me to court! They must of forgot that freedom of speech that Americans have. Don't move here. Way better places closer to the Walmart and Mall, with great management.

I have lived at Charter Woods for 2 1/2 years and am about to move for work reasons, and I am very sad to go. For the price point, you will not find anything better. The neighborhood is beautiful, peaceful, and safe. All of the residents seem like decent people. There are sidewalks that lead into the other surrounding apartments as well as a fitness trail that I walk my dog on regularly. You can also walk to meijer and many other business on Colonel Glenn. The office staff have always been very ...

kind and the maintenence crew is very prompt-- they have always responded the day of for things such as repairing and then replacing our garbage disposal and fixing our fireplace multiple times. There was even a time that we accidentally drilled a hole into the sprinkler pipes while hanging a picture which caused water to shoot into our apartment, and they arrived within 10 or 15 minutes and fixed it. The apartments are very basic (no flashy upgrades) but are still very nice. The carpet was new when we moved in, all units come with a gas fireplace and huge garden bathtub. I hardly ever hear our neighbors and we have never gotten any noise complaints even though we are pretty loud, so the walls must be thick. Overall, this is an excellent place to live and I have a had a really hard time finding another apartment that comes close!

Everything about Charter Wood is excellent. The maintenance is attentive and helpful, and the apartments are well finished and clean. Most of the residents work at the base, which makes for a very quiet community.

Amazing staff. Every single maintenance request I've ever made was taken care of within the hour. Simple, clean, and quiet units. I've been on two different sides of this complex. Tons of floor plans to choose and very competitively priced for the area. For being so close to a military base, it is amazing how nice this place is. Laundry room and fitness center are a big plus as well. Washer dryer hookups are in every single unit though, if you wish to buy your own. Can't speak highly ...
