Renters Beware!!

We had a litter trained 7-lb cat and were charged $1000 in "pet damages" upon moveout. How convenient for them we were already in a different state at the time the "damage" was found and a bill produced. We couldn't fight this because it was our word vs. theirs, plus we were 6 hours away and could not make it back for small claims court. Thankfully was covered under our renters insurance. Sure they say pets are welcome, only because its extra money lining their pockets!! There are roaches ...

everywhere in these apartments. Doors and windows are terribly sealed, so bugs and cold air come right in. Can hear everything in above apartment. Maintenance is also questionable. We called once to have our hot water heater fixed, instead of addressing the real issue, they just cranked it up to the hottest possible setting, probably hoped we wouldn't notice in our electric bill. Beautiful grounds and landscaping, pass on everything else.

It seems nice enough at first and my husband and I thought it was amazing but after a year of being here now we are ready to move. The neighbors scream profanities at their kids so loud you can hear them buildings away! Worse than that is the fact that we started noticing a huge bug problem and with HUGE bugs/cockroaches. Also, I understand kids play and whatnot but they scream and yell so loud it's hard to get my baby to stay down for a nap because between them or the people in the other ...

buildings screaming it wakes her up. I promise it looks great and the staff seems friendly enough but you will end up hating it once you have been there for a bit. I wish we would have listened to the other reviews we read and rented from somewhere else.
