Crystal Lake Dump
October 31, 2017(cont.) After I lived there for over a year. I had my roommate leave to return to his home country of China. He had given a 30-day notice and didn't feel confident speaking to the office so he asked if I would call on his behalf (notice "call" because the office is NEVER open). I asked if he needed to sign anything else - they told me he was good to go. I had another friend take his place on the lease. THREE WEEKS later the office emails me asking what happened to my old roommate and that he ...needs to sign more paperwork. I was really worried they were going to use this to try and charge me in some way for violation of the lease (luckily they didn't), but they did insist that I give proof of income to them now that I'm getting a new roommate. Can you guess why? The policy. I lived there over a year and never once late on rent and I had to reapply and show proof of income. Crystal Lake, don't so crystal clear
September 23, 2015The "lake" is a scummy pond. The management is hard to reach. That said, they are very clean apartments and we'll maintained.Review from Apartments.com
