I will start by stating the fact that my husband and I should have ran far away from this apartment complex the moment we noticed that none of the prices matched up. On their website, before we did the application and talked with Jennifer, on the application and yet again a different number when the application was processed. ...into a home immediately, which the staff knew. They also know this is a community for low income families which my husband an I fall under. He works hard all day while I stay home with our children and home school them.
Anyway, we applied for the apartment and when I called to check on the results and when to move in Jennifer informs me we got denied but doesn't know why. I called the company, on-site.com, and on their automated message they state that they have no say in denials and if you were denied contact the property you applied to. Why lie about such a silly thing Jenny? We found out that there was an error in one of our background checks involving a court ordered sealed record. On-site corrected the error however Lago Del Sol is continuing to deny my family to rent there based on information that was was incorrect.
I feel in my heart that they had no intention on leasing to us and scammed us out of $150. Please beware of the thieves that work at Lago Del Sol! My experience is that Jennifer will be sweet to you until she knows you payed for the background/credit check and then turns into a nasty, discriminating, and heartless person.
