The best and safest place to live in Newport News
April 13, 2016I have never felt safer than I do in Forrest Pines Senior apartments. I know it's a well sort after place to live. The building is locked, has an elevator and beautiful decorated hallways. Whoever wrote that this place is unsafe, must be someone who had a problem with this area. I doubt very much that it's directly with this apartment community. This community is brand new. The doors are operated by a locked system. Only residents can open the doors. If they choose to open the doors for ...strangers, I would be very much surprised. Everyone here is wonderful. My neighbors are fantastic and so is the office staff. I am so glad to have a place to call home here. I have nothing but good things to say about this complex. I have been living here for 8 months, and hope to be here for many years to come. The parking lot is all lit up. Patrol cars come by often and check out the area. There is nothing unsafe here. The apartment community next door, our Sister apartments, are also very quiet and calm. So far, I have not seen any problems. The apartments are spacious and the baclcony is GREAT. We live on the fourth floor, and I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Unsafe!!!
April 6, 2016Forrest Pines Senior apartments is unsafe for your love ones. All of the drug dealers and other scary looking individuals walk through the neighborhood trying to get for Courthouse Green to Patriots Crossing. There is a fence keeping the 2 gang infested neighborhoods apart which is why they hang out in the woods around Forrest Pines Senior. I have heard gunshots many nights and I am worried for the elderly that live there.Review from Apartments.com

August 24, 2015The apartment that i live in now are not in the best condition infact im trying to move in a better apartment. I have been living in the shell gardens apartments for going on 12 years and im ready to move on to something better and mote moderin. The neigbor hood is pretty good though. August 8, 2015When I first saw the kitchen area I went crazy!!! So much storage finally can put all of my dishes in cabinets instead of storage!!! Huge apartments with a beautiful bathroom.
