LOVE
November 24, 2024I’ve been here for two months and the neighborhood is quiet, maintenance handle request promptly & rental staff are friendly. Property is secured by security guards & police officers patrol around every once in a while for extra security. Homes are clean and spacious with a lot of children if you have kids whey will find a friend lol but overall great place 10/10.Property Manager Responded

Been waiting over a month
September 24, 2018I contacted them several times in reference to an application I put in and keep getting the run around. I've asked numerous times was I approved only for them to ask more silly questions. They verified my income multiple ways and I still haven't been able to move in and it's been over a month. I've sent emails, let voicemails I only received one phone call for them go ask more crazy questions. Do not waste your money or time they don't seem like they want to fill vacancies they want to give ...people the run around.Property Manager Responded

Not for people with a busy schedule
August 21, 2017There is no sense of order in the office they are short staffed when it comes to maintenance and you will suffer because of that. I've had appliances that have been broken for over a month and they refuse to compensate me in my rent even though those appliances are included in your rent. It's very hectic outside especially when school is out or on the weekends. Don't have your packages sent to your door because people will steal them. If you are looking for an efficient place to live I would not ...suggest this complex at all.Property Manager Responded

Why I love living at heritage forest apartments
October 31, 2016WHY I LOVE THE STAFF AND LIVING HERE IN HERITAGE FOREST APARTMENTS I've been living here in Heritage Forest Apts., for going on 4yrs. I moved here because they had 2brms, and 2 bths., with a patio or balcony, and they accepted Section 8. So I thought I lived and went to heaven. As time went on I lost my section 8 because of income restrictions, but I stayed. Before I moved here, I lived in a 2 bdrm,1 Bth house that was 850 sq.ft., my apartment here is over 1000 sq. ft., so you know I am not ...trying to move. I'm a smoker so you know I love the balcony because I don't smoke inside the house, also where can you move and they have a full size washer and dryer that's included in the rent. Oh let me not forget about the walk in closet,with all those amenities, the rent is still affordable. The staff I love them. The maintenance staff works so hard here, even when they're under staffed. The office staff is marvelous, they're very friendly, attentive, and they always take the time for me even if they're busy. There's no better place to live in Newport News.
