Do you like bugs? Are you good at DIY projects and fixing things yourself? Then this building is for you! But seriously- I’ve been here for a month and a half: I cannot stop the ant problem in the kitchen (they are crawling all over the window and in cabinets). I have 2 busted closet doors that I had been promised would be replaced prior to move in, yet still are not. The light switches in the living room and bedroom do not work/go to anything. tenants, as the fridge and baseboards were nasty. I try calling the asset manager and always get voicemail, and I’m lucky if I receive a response to email. A third party is used for maintenance, and only one thing is fixed at a time (so multiple visits/days, and you have to be home since they don’t have a key). There’s trash all over outside, and the same beds and couch and other trash piled next to the dumpster have been there since the week I moved in. Oh, and you have to pay them a set $80 per month for water with your rent, though I know as a fact I only use $40-45/month. If you want to use their online portal to pay rent, it’s an additional $10 per month. I could move out and not have the ramifications of breaking lease, I would do it tomorrow.
