Constant Rent Increase but Declining Management

Laurel Garden apartments used to be such a great place to live but since new management took over, it has not been the same. There’s trash littered outside of the trash area and the trash area itself is overflowing because trash pick up no longer occurs frequently. Grass is constantly overgrown with weeds and overall cleanliness of the apartment surroundings we once has declined greatly. Yet there is rent increment. Just disappointing.

Great place to live. Well kept. The apartment is operated and kept by the owners, they are very pleasant. I believe all the apartments are the same; 2 bedroom, 2 bath. You pay electric. No fitness center on site, but there are lots near by; Library, soccer field, football field, playground, walking trail, 2 basketball courts, tennis court--all within 1 or 2 blocks away. The apartment walls are somewhat thin but all in all I like the apartment. My wife and I still live here. 5 stars for me. ...

I have lived here for almost a year and i must say i do love it. I would continue to live here but my roommate and i are moving separately and i don't need all the space. The office staff is very friendly and I've never had any issues. I feel safe at all hours of the day and i haven't seen any "shady" business. The neighborhood is pretty quiet and the neighbors stick to themselves. Whenever there has been a maintenance issue, it is resolved rather quickly and i can pay my rent with a credit card ...

without incurring a fee. I can say this complex is a little behind on the technology curve because most complexes do things online, but i like the "old school" feel, makes me feel more connected to the office staff. All in all, this is a nice place to live.
