June 18, 2024The community itself seems to be trying to improve, but my move in was horrible. Lease was to start June 2nd and it’s now June 17th and my unit is still not ready to be moved in. We received our keys and did an inspection and found obvious signs of mold, leaks, rotted wood, uncleaned unit, etc. Made note to office staff and was brushed to the side. After several days of staying there because we had nowhere to go; we started to feel sick. At this point I refused to stay another day until the ...problems were rectified. Having to miss work to deal with the office because there are no straightforward answers via phone or email. Spoke with regional about our issues and finally came up with a resolution. It’s now going in two weeks and still unable to stay in our unit. We were given credit for the days we aren’t staying there along with a $80/day for a place to stay. With all that, I really like the floor plan and what all our unit comes with which is why we choose to stay here. But it is very frustrating having to deal with such issues due to the lack of effort from the office staff.Property Manager Responded
