This complex is terrible they lie about what the monthly rent is and what apartments are available when you get approved they switch the apartment that you applied for to try to put you in another apartment you didn’t apply for horrible experience. Management gives inaccurate information They property management sucks and isn’t helpful nor respectful doesn’t care about her residents

If you value your health, don't move here. While the location is nice and it's supposedly a "smoke free" apartment complex, management will do nothing to address the issues outside of pleasantries to get you to stop complaining.

Worst place you could live

The management here is the worst of the worst. They lie, skimp and take huge advantage of their residents. They allow workers to enter your apartment with out permission and then say "oh sorry" when they are caught. The trash cans are 1 half mile for the apartment meaning you have to walk your trash ridiculously far. They raise the rent on you without telling you. There are too few parking sports for the number of residents and if you parallel park on the street, you will get a boot put on your ...

car. This is the WORST place to live. Even if this is all you can find, I promise you it is not worth it. Living in a hotel would be more pleasant. FYI management also reviews themselves on here so the positive reviews are fake.

Don't apply it, it's our recently experience, awful. We applied a two bedroom apartment a few days ago, and had paid $128 application fee and $500 holding deposit, but they told us the apartment we applied was not available, and wanted us to change. However, I can still see the apartment available on their website and they have raised the rent rate. We have called them many times, and every time they have reasons but don't do anything. According to their policy, our 500 dollars holding deposit is ...

non-refundable, except they deny our application. The move in date is approaching, but they still don't tell us whether accept or deny our application. I feel they are cheating on us and don't want to give our deposit back. Don't apply such a terrible place, it's a nightmare!!

The apartments themselves, inside, are beautiful. Beautiful touches and great attention to detail. We have decorated it well and it feels truly like home. Management, however makes this place feel like anything but home. Maintenance takes forever to come and address issues. The trash cans were moved ridiculously far away. On a snow day like today, Jan 30th 2022, Lehigh Flats didn't even make an attempt to shovel our side walks or the exits from the building. Thats a HAZARD. Also, how to they ...

expect us to walk the what feels like 3 miles to the dumpsters if they can't even simply shovel the sidewalks. There are also barley any parking spots and if you come home after 8pm you'll have to park at the local elementary school and walk because there will be no spots left.There is also no nice place for my children to play. Sad. Beautiful apartment, poor management and complete disregard for residents.

If I could give this place a negative amount of stars, I would. The Galman Group, owners of Lehigh flats and they employees are the worst of the worst. Poor craftsmanship, Maintenance workers who enter without permission and who leave smoked cigarettes on your kitchen table. Management also chose to remove all dumpsters from locations close to apartments and moved them ridiculously far away. When residents complained they responded with “we gave you notice”. Lehigh Flats seems great at first. Beautiful apartments with awesome features. However, the managment is horrible and possibly immoral. They lie, and skimp however they can. They lied to another resident about the black mold in a unit. They also have decided to remove all but one dumpster on THE WHOLE PROPERTY meaning that all residents have to lug all of their trash to one dumpster. Absurd. This is a horrible place to live.

Don’t be fooled by the “upgrades”

If there is a 0 star I would give it to them the upgrades are just deceptive and cosmetic. The AC is advertised as part of the rent it does not work. Some of the Maintinince staff are incompetent and aggressive and very rude. Management does not care and are very deceiving, trust me do yourself a favor and don’t fall for their trap. My AC was not working during multiple heat waves they left me for 84 days during multiple heat waves with no AC and had me running the broken one, a mini portable one ...

they got to shut me up and the bedroom one 24/7 and promised multiple times they will reimburse the electricity bill and when it was time to pay they never did they denied everything and I was left to foot the whole bill. They damaged my carpets and were aggressive to me when I complained about it. Even though they just remodeled it’s just cosmetics everything broke down within a month. Don’t fall for the fake bought reviews they have, you will suffer for the duration of your stay like I am.

Quiet Community, Great Management

We moved in a Lehigh Flats 3 months ago and have had a wonderful experience so far! The apartments are newly renovated and beautiful. They're located in a great spot within walking distance to downtown Newark. The community is very quiet with lots of sidewalks for walking/running. The Property Manager has been very kind, reliable and easy to work with throughout the entire process!
