Pinehurst is an excellent community. It's peaceful and quiet with very friendly neighbors! I lived in multiple states and I have to say, Kansas City has made me feel very welcomed. I would definitely recommend Pinehurst to friends and family!

So far I have enjoyed living here. Neighbors have been friendly and love seeing all the kids playing and people out walking their dogs. Enjoyed the pool and the conveniences of the location to stores and other places.

My family and I had a terrible experience here. The area does not feel safe, especially at night. Our apartment was not cleaned when we moved in and we quickly found out that there was a bug and mold problem, everywhere. Everything was addressed to the office and they did not handle each situation properly. We were there for only 2 months and spent a majority of the time having maintenance and renovation guys coming in all the time working on the apartment. Things that could have and should have ...
been fixed before we moved in. They were just hoping that someone that moved in here wouldn’t care about where they’re living. We may be a little particular and want things to be clean and LIVABLE. Living in a very small apartment with mold and brown recluse spiders is not what I call a normal situation as the manager had used as an excuse. Things are just not well kept and the apartments are in need of some serious repair/renovations. There is just terrible management here that don’t care about their tenants or the living situation they’re in.

I believe the complexes overall are good however, I believe it could be better with updated features like new counter tops in kitchen and bathrooms, newer bathtubs, ceiling fans in all units, and higher toilet seats (they sit extremely low and make it hard to stand up), and more storage in bathrooms (over the toilet shelves or medicine cabinets) the bedrooms are a great sizes and I love the walk in closets

Overall was a good experience. The manager and team are very friendly and helpful. The apartment is good just had a few minor issues that were taken care of the same day and very convenient to Highway and for all my other daily house hold needs. Very friendly community and neighbors have been great!

They were good to us until we gave our notice. After that we were nit-picked and targeted about every single thing. My car was broken into 4 times, security lights often broken, trash blowing around everywhere, no one picks up their dog poop, the dog park is disgusting. They came in once unannounced to check an air filter, which they say they don't do, but I didn't get the notice that they were coming in until 4 days later. They used us to do things like open apartments on the weekends and ...
monitor the pool, but are now screwing us out of our entire deposit over stuff that was there when we moved in/stuff related to maintenance emergencies in my apartment that they didn't clean up after. I will NEVER rent from them again.
