Not Ideal for Comfortable Living

DO. NOT. LIVE. HERE.
Been here for about three months and I do not even know where to begin.
Plumbing- There recently was a plumbing issue for a full week. Everything I flushed went straight to the bathtub. No working water at all. Still had to pay utilities full price. The unit underneath us had the same issue except through their ceiling. The tenants received no notice, and I spent three days with conditioner in my hair. The smell was unbearable. The plumbers informed me how the whole ...
building and other units were disgusting. What was the leasing office’s response? “I sincerely apologize.” Nothing more. No fees waived or discounted.
Staff- The actual leasing office is at another property. I have to contact a different number sometimes just to get in touch with the Pines at Lawrenceville. They turned off my power my first week here, and tried to deny it until GA Power informed me that they did. They eventually owned up to it and ‘apologized’ via email. Parking spots get taken up easily, so when I parked in handicap for about 20 mins today, the owner of the property towed my car. I had to pay $200. They do not care, and throw a fee on anything and everything so be extremely careful.
Condition- Roach-infested. Have your cleaning products ready. Literally every time you look up at a wall your first couple weeks, you will see a roach. I eventually refused their ‘pest control’ because it doesn’t work, and took further action using different services to finally get rid of all the roaches. They were swarming. Could not even cook here at first. Extremely unsanitary.
I am pregnant and do not feel appreciated here, currently looking for other living options. I’ve experienced nothing but a pattern of disappointment and fees. Not ideal for a newborn, or anyone seeking happy living.
