Hi: I rented there for one year (Aug. 02 to Sept 03)before moving to Salem to live with my girlfriend. The time I spent there was wonderful! The other tenants were very friendly, the manager was very efficient and the owner was very kind to me. The apartment was very clean when I moved in, it was very quiet the whole time I was there. I have lived here for seven years. Which is quite a long time. I have never sept well here. Its so noisy from Scholls Ferry. a major thoroughfare with buses, OES and a elementary school. the units are large but very old and out of date. Because of the shared central corridor the apartment also has the worst airflow of anywhere ive ever lived. Its stale air. always. In 7 years there have been 4 different managers, high turnover is not a good sign of proper management. There is almost never ...

anybody in the office or contactable by phone. They rarely come and fix anything and its always with a snarl.

Very nice apartments with high ceilings and some cool features like . Inner courtyard is like a private garden, a little oasis with flowers and fruit trees. Manager is nice. Most neighbors are nice and keep to themselves. Apartments are older but are in the process of being updated. You can hear everything from neighbors above or below - footsteps, music, television. Loud traffic sounds in the apartments facing Scholls Ferry, but quiet in the apartments facing the inner courtyard. Some apartments ...

facing the courtyard are quite dark as the sun never shines in. Every downstairs apartment has a nice little fenced off patio with room for a few chairs and a table, and every upstairs unit has a balcony. Water is not included in the rent, this is paid to an outside company each month by every tenant. 3 rent increases in the past 3 years totaling more than 30% increase making it pretty expensive for what you get - no pool, no gym, just an older apartment without soundproofing right on a busy road with no covered parking.
