Residences of McDowell is nothing like the photos they advertise. This place lacks basic security, and the area feels unsafe. There have been multiple incidents, including police stand-offs and shootings, which make it clear that safety is a serious issue here. The amenities are poorly maintained, and there are frequent problems with cable. The grounds are not kept clean, with dog and cat droppings everywhere, trash from homeless encampments nearby, and constant loud noise. Hallways often smell ...
like urine, adding to the overall poor living conditions. If you're thinking about moving in, be warned—it’s far from what’s advertised, and management doesn’t seem to be addressing any of these serious issues.

Lived here since Seigel Suites the new management has improved the property and apartments. Grounds are always clean and maintenance gets work orders done quickly. Close to I10 and shopping centers. GREAT STAFF

UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNKEPT

0 ? for sure!!! I used to stay here while I was waiting for my home to be ready against my better judgement and I was right. Trust me YOU DO NOT WANT TO STAY HERE!!! unless this is your last resort. The property is poorly maintained.There is trash lying around all over they have porters who are supposed to pick up trash however there was a same bag of trash laying around for 2 weeks until I got tired of seeing it and threw it away myself. There's numerous junk all around even furniture. ...
Maintenance doesn't know what they're doing I've had to call them repeatedly for the same problem. Than they have they have the audacity to get upset. Wait a minute....We pay alot of money to be treated with disrespect. The very least we should have working plumbing and AC that's mandatory!! The Assistant manager Monica as well as the employees are all super rude and unprofessional. They pick and choose their favorites here and treat them accordingly!!! it is not a place of professionalism. They treat you with no respect because you are staying here l. As though they look down on you when they all live here too except they all have brand new AC units, fridge, etc. while paying tenants get broken appliances with units that have holes in the wall and bugs. It is unfortunate because this property does have potential if it had the right people running it and they aimed for better customer service instead all they care about is their money the minute your late, like a a couple hours late (past noon) they're trying to put notices on your door if you've been here longer than 30 days. If your weekly they'll remove all your personal belongings with no care AT ALL. They'll ruin your furniture dragging it to a filthy dusty storage area without a second thought. Again They do this soon as your late but you can wait around for days for them to complete your maintenance order LOL it's ridiculous!!! They need to clean house literally and hire all new people.

A Great Place to Rent inbetween Moves

A couple years ago, we fell into a financial bind due to 4 month layoff so we came here to get caught up due to the flexibility of rental payments. Not only did we get caught up but we boosted our credit to the top score. What we like about this place on McDowell is the office is very friendly, the manager is awesome and takes care of his good tenants. The maintenance team is great too, they are super friendly and take care of requests quickly and efficiently. It is pet friendly and has alot of ...
green space to walk your dog. The units are also furnished so we kept our furnishings in storage for the time being. The flexibility of this property really offers you a chance to get back on track whether you experienced a layoff, foreclosure, divorce or whatever reason you need to get back on track. It worked wonders for us.
