Jet noise and not worth the rent
June 9, 2022I was not told when moving in that there would be daily Navy/Airforce jet operations right overhead, sometimes multiple times a day, usually lasting around 20-30 minutes. 6am, 11pm, noon, whenever. I work from home and also just happen to be one of the many vets in the area who served on board an aircraft carrier years ago and do not want to relive that experience constantly and would not have considered living here had I known. Other than that, it's a basic nothing special apartment with 20 ...layers of paint over everything, not worth the premium rent they charge.Property Manager Responded

I love my neighborhood.
July 30, 2015I have lived in my neighborhood, since 2011. I have lived in a 2 bedroom, and a 4 bedroom townhome. The atmosphere feels very secure. It is next to Langley air force base, so if you love hearing jets, then this is the place for you. It is usually very quiet, except the jet noise. You don't see kids hanging out everywhere. The maintenance crew, does a great job in what they do. The 4 bedroom is very spacious. You have a very nice sized patio. You do have assigned parking and you can park right in ...the front of your door. It does not have a fitness area, but you have local parks, such as sandy bottom nature park and matteson trail. For shopping you also have Peninsula Town Center for all your shopping and dining needs. While living here, you can walk down the street to the boo Williams sports complex and use the track 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. for free. You can drive 10 minutes to buckroe beach. Everything is close by. The price for the 4 bedroom is steep ($1300), but you get what you pay for. If you want to live nice and prefer not to live in a house, then this is the place for you.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

August 20, 2015Quiet, child friendly neighborhood. Spacious, 2, 3, and 4 bedroom town homes. One and a half bath in 2 bedroom. One and a half bath, plus half bath in master bedroom in 3 and 4 bedroom units. Full-sized washer and dryer in all units. Fenced-in back patios. Walk-in closets. Conveniently located to bus line, shopping, hospital, with elementary school located right across the street. Friendly rental staff with very timely maintenance response. Nicely manicured grounds and assigned parking space ...right in front of your door! Activity events given for children throughout the year. Very family oriented and friendly neighborhood.
