March 16, 2022Sloan's Lake is a good "in-between" community. If you are in-between buying a house and need someplace better than a high crime area, it is great. If you don't want anyone messing with your car, you may want to look elsewhere as it's common here. Otherwise, crime is low. There is mostly room to park. Rent elsewhere!
November 26, 2021It’s such a shame to leave a 1-star review because the apartments have so much potential. Under the right management, this complex can be an incredible place to live. Current management, however, is atrocious. Trying to get in contact with the office is near impossible. They don’t answer their phones or emails nor do they return voicemails. Maintenance spends most of their time driving around the complex on golf carts rather than completing work orders. If you have a pet, expect them to pocket ...the $400 pet deposit and charge you for pet cleaning when you move out. Graystar provides no explanation on what they do with that $400 you paid for your pet at move in. They charge you to “clean” up after your pets at move out, yet, they do not properly clean the apartments in between renters. We lived in two different apartments while living at Sloans Lake Apartments and they were not properly cleaned before we moved in. This was especially disturbing since we were moving during the COVID pandemic. Parking is not monitored - guests and cars from the complex across the way are often taking the spots at Sloans Lake Apartments. If you want a guaranteed parking spot, you have to pay an additional monthly fee. Like I said, it is such a shame because these apartments have a great location with loads of potential. They focus too much on how the complex looks to potential new residents and let the inside of the apartments whither away. We do not and never will recommend living at Sloans Lake Apartments as long as they are managed by Graystar. They will pocket your money, create extra fees for you to pay, and not provide for their residents as they should.Property Manager Responded

Our maintenance team here does a great job of maintaining the property and has a record of 48 hour turnaround time on all work orders.
