My experience
January 21, 2020I was turned down for an apartment ,however was charged $400.00 for deposit and administrative fee. Called and asked for refund , was informed it will take a month for a refund . After a month and a half called again a few times .., went to the leasing office Three different times and they claimed it was their Accountant !!!! I received a check in the mail from them ,,took it to the bank and it bounced . I had no choice but to call my credit card company and to dispute the charges. The credit ...card company send them two different notices and finally the second notice they were able to refund my money this whole process took 4 months .Read all the reviews Please ,you see there are other people in the same situation or were at one point ... February 28, 2019I am currently a resident here. KING SPRUNGS IS NOT THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL!!!! I moved in expecting the best and have nothing but the worst. The pool was closed last summer for the entire summer almost it was only open for one moth in the summer. My door has been leaking for three months I had to call them twice to fix it. My carpet was so wet it was coming up from the floor. They glued the wet carpet back down to the wet sub floor. Now I have mold in my carpet that has my daughter breaking out. ...They never came back to clean the carpet. My toilet is not secured to the floor. My neighbor banged something out of place in my bathroom that caused a leaked in my bathroom and the carpet in the closet is soaking wet. Never came to clean up that carpet entire house smells like mildew. I have a huge hole in the ceiling patched up with a black trash bag and silver tape. Should have listened to the Previous Reviews October 2018
October 10, 2018I have been living in this apartment for 3 days and cannot wait for the lease term to end. I relocated to Smyrna from NY and did extensive research on a decent area for young families. I settled on this complex because of fair reviews on other sites. I was sadly mistaken, there is so much potential in these apartments if only work wasnt done so shabby. The plaster used in the bathroom is peeling, the doors to the laundry closet are falling off, the screen door to the balcony fell off, there is ...tape in the bathroom on the door handle, the towel hanger rod fell off, and the toilet is not secured to the floor; all of this in a matter of three days. Everything is done so poorly, no quality to the work at all. Very dissatisfied resident. I honestly cannot wait for this lease term to be done and over with. This complex is like an old pair of white shoes that white out is placed over to cover the wear and tear. New Resident April 2018
April 30, 2018Have lived in the area about 3 years and could not be happier about my recent move to Sterling Vinings Apartments. The staff (Yolanda and Margot) in the leasing office was extremely helpful and went out of their way to show me the property, answer all my questions, and meet my move date. The complex is beautifully maintained and quite peaceful. The landscaping and tree cover enhance the beauty and give a nice sense of privacy. The apartment design is unique and the abundance of large windows ...with crown moldings and faux wooden blinds, fireplace with mantle, and full-size appliances in the kitchen make for a very comfortable environment. Both management and maintenance have been very prompt in responding to any concerns. Currently a resident
June 4, 2017Been living here for about 6 months now and I really wish Ive signed a 6 month lease instead of a 12 month lease. First moving in was great, about a month later I kept having problems with my heat. Maintance is very good about coming out but when they fix my heat it was only temporary. Now summer is here and I'm havin problems with the AC of course maintance have came out and fixed it but like I said it's temporary. Also if u have small children or small pets it's not safe for them I've seen ...snakes on the property as well as right on my door step. If it's not one thing it's another know matter how much I spray or how much pest control come out my apartment is invaded by ants, big water bugs or roaches not sure what they are and nets. I keep a very clean home so I'm not understanding what's the problem. But I'm more worried about the snakes and with it being summer time I'm sure they will come out a lot more. I've reported and I'm not sure what's going to be done. The parking here sucks, it's plenty of parking but not for guests my guest has to walk very far from my apartment it's ridiculous and it's dark over there in that corner at knight. Even tho it's only after 10pm when this rule apply it's still ridiculous and if there is know parking left in the visitor parking your basically being told u can't have company or risk ur company's car being towed.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Worse apartments in Smyrna
December 17, 2015Worse Apartments in Smyrna ! The apartments are poorly renovated ! The model apartment of course is beautiful ! However weeks after moving into my unit I noticed holes in the wall , paint chipping , water damage and more ! All they did was slap black paint on the cabinets and say the apartments were "revenovated". Management is very rude. Several occasions I was given false information about different resources and procedure. The staff does not take pride in how they come to work. The first ...thing you notice about a person is how they're dressed. One is supposed to dress professional and have a clean image. Most days mangement looks like they rolled out of bed which is not great when conducting business. The grounds are horrible ! As you can see in the picture they do not take pride on how the complex looks ! Rather it's paint chipping or mold / dirt on the fixtures this place is not kept clean !
