I scheduled a tour to view an apartment. I was using an apartment locator so she set everything up for me but when I arrived the front office didn’t know I was coming even though I received texts and emails about the appt. The lady working seemed very disinterested in helping. Basically just gave me a piece of paper and asked what I needed. Only showed me photos of the unit that were also older photos. Almost immediately I knew I didn’t want to live here.

AC & Heat ventilation worst ever on all 2nd floor apartments

I lived here till Jan 2023 almost been here for a year. Unfortunately, I booked this apartment online from Michigan in March 2022, where I was previously resident. First few months were OK since we did not face any extreme temperatures but when peak summer started in June, I noticed even when the AC was left for whole day, the room temperature would only reach 74 F. I complained n number of times but no effective solution, they changed the compressor for namesake to prove they worked on ...
resident's complaint but that was of no use, the fault is in the ventilation on the whole, which takes ages to either cool in summer or heat in winter. my advice for new residents is please inspect the property and have them in written to provide with good ventilation system. or else you end paying 300- 400 monthly electricity bill. moreover, they charge you unnecessarily $ 25 for trash which they do not collect for reason known to them. there is no security for the car parking , some one can easily break through the community since the gates are left open 24/7. JUSFTICATION: you can notice almost of the community on the 2nd floor units are unoccupied

Poorly Managed Apartments

HVAC , AC is not working in the community gym since July. Front door for the community gym don't open or close properly . The thing is if they can’t even fix these issues how are they going to fix any future issues with your apartment! No trash pickup scheduled for 2 straight days, Friday & Saturday. You can look at the main big disposal at parking lot. It will tell you everything what kind of residents live here. It is always over full and disgusting. There are spiders, fire ants and mice ...
infestation all over the building. Too many problems to list. I believe the reason being maintenance issues are not getting solved since this community manager is not physically present on-site and highly dependent on the on-site assistant manager.

The apartments are very old and dirty
August 1, 2016
They try to paint things away, very old appliances and ill managed property. The floors are greasy and no way to clean them because of hand scrapped hardwood, also be aware of some leasing gotchas. I would recommend checking out other apartments before going for this. The management is pretty bad and that will be very evident soon. There are quite a few other properties in the neighborhood I would recommend trying others and use this as a last resort.

An excellent choice for family!!!

We lived in this community for 5 years and really loved it here. It is gated and conveniently located close to many of the shopping needs. It has a lot of open green area and that was one of the reasons for choosing this. Infact the day we saw this community we finalized it and did not even check any others. It definitely was a great choice and my son really loved the lush greens as there was ample space to play and interact with other kids around. Ofcourse there were a few challenges when a new ...
management team took over which is where I see a lot of negative reviews. Infact any new team anywhere would face this (we all dislike changes for a while) and over a period of time they picked it very fast and really well. The management and the maintenance team is very helpful and assist even if it is not a regular maintenance. I have heard the management's attitude changes the day you put the notice to vacate, however I had a different experience. Nora and team has been very helpful in my move out and what surprised me the most was that they even returned the full deposit which I have heard is not common. They considered my long stay and treated it as regular maintenance. We left this apartment when we moved to a house else we would have still continued. Thanks to all the Somerset management and maintenance team for the great experience we had!!!

A very nice and well landscaped community. Apartments are well maintained, inside and out! Wood style flooring, brand new soft carpets, garden tubs and beautiful countertops, you have to come see them for yourself! Tenants on the second floor can enjoy the use of their own private stairs, located inside the unit. They allow almost any breed/size dogs and offer on site, free apartment maintenance for every tenant, no matter what the problem!

Old, but spacious and okay

Carpet is 1970's style brown shag. Ugh. Some laminate wood look floor. Roomy 2 floor condo with 2 car garage though. Still, $1818 per month is about $300 per month more than I think it's worth. Condo mgmt here is the best I've ever had though.

I am so disappointed in reading some of the reviews of this community. My experience with the Somerset at Spring Creeks office has been nothing but professional and great customer service. All of my maintenance work orders have been taken care of in a timely manner, and I have never had a better experience than with this office staff. Unfortunately I recently had to give notice and I'll be moving from this community to California. I decided to check on some apartment complexes and I was shocked ...

Nice space quiet place
July 20, 2015
Had to find affordable 3Br 2 br for my impending family. I lucked into a townhouse. A little older, so a little bigger, a little more solid. With new carpet this place would be a gem renting for $500 more per month. 2 car garage, is also nice plus in this gated community.
