Good Potential, Poor Management
February 21, 2023My wife and I have lived at Arden Terrace for the past year in a 2b/2b. We were told before move-in that we would be in a first floor unit with no carpet, and neither of those were true. Lots of carpet and on the 2nd floor, which made moving a hassle. Not the greatest first impression. We had an AC issue that poured water out from the ceiling and into our bathroom. We put in a request for the issue, but had to ask five more times because each maintenance person would slap a band-aid on the issue ...and not actually fix it. When a competent technician finally arrived, he showed us just how bad the issue was and how much mold had accumulated in our ceiling. We were so absolutely done with the apartment after that point. We can't wait for our lease to end. We had a number of other maintenance issues along the way, including another ceiling leak in our living room. Pros: Nice pool area Close to park/schools Having an Amazon Hub available is a plus Cons: Bad apartment management. Far too few maintenance workers - it takes weeks or even months for requests to go through. Carpet. Dumpsters are generally cluttered with trash all around. Many residents smoke and make it unpleasant to be outside. Apartments are painted with the "landlord special" (i.e. awful paint jobs that are only applied so they can charge you more money). Water pressure is a joke, particularly in the kitchen. Water temperature is equally laughable, especially in the shower; good luck maintaining the same temperature for more than a few minutes. Urgent issues are not addressed in a timely fashion. Conclusion: Out of the five apartments we've rented in as many years, this one has been the most frustrating and poorly managed property we've experienced. I recommend you look elsewhere.Property Manager Responded

AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!
January 13, 2022If water is important to you then this is definitely not the place for you. The water especially the hot water has been an issue for years. Sometimes there are many days in a row without hot water during the winter during a pandemic! The dumpsters are always surrounded by mounds of trash and there are little to none as far as updates. Managers come and go like a revolving door so that means that nothing actually ever gets done. I wish 0 stars was an option!Property Manager Responded

did not enjoy my visit
February 27, 2017I don't think I would suggest stopping by here. It wasn't comfortable experience. I just moved here and am looking for a new apartment. I didn't see anything I enjoyed really and the people in the office were just so so. Maybe it was a bad day for them, i don't know.Review from Apartments.com
Avoid at all cost!
February 29, 2016For the price of the rent, its not worth moving here.. Avoid at all cost unless you want a head ache. I've seen previous post and their correct, it's 2016 and they still have hot water Issues, every week theres no hot water to take showers they have gone 3days in a row no hot water. They are trying to make the property look nice, but its a disguise on what's really going on.. Loud tenants that bump rap music out of their cars in the parking lot, Neighbor up stairs is loud and theres alot of ...domestic disputes with them all the time.. This place is really the hood if you ask me... For 1300 get a house before you move to this dump you've been warned.. Oh before I forget it is infested with bugs, and there is always trash outside the dumpster in the parking lotRead MoreReview from Apartments.com
City Terrace Apartments
August 12, 2015This apartment complex is the most disgusting place i have ever had to live. We moved here from out of state and found this place online, we called and got information from the manager and although she was very sweet she lied to us. She told us that this apartment complex was newly remodeled, safe, and clean. This place is anything but that. They have barley started remodeling, which is unsafe due to the fact these workers are throwing stuff off the roof and theres nails on the sidewalk in which ...myself or my dogs can easily step on. Because of there remolding the roaches and spiders are coming out and infesting my apartment, its disgusting. They have been working on the pool for months, its summer time and the residents here don't get to enjoy a cool place to relax, like the manager had told me before move in. and i also must add, there is trash everywhere. I do not recommend living here.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
