Terrible management!!! I moved out as soon as my lease ended.

During my lease, it was hard to get in touch with them. They answered maybe 1 out of 3 or 4 emails that my roommate and I sent, and the front office lady wasn't there half of the time when we came to talk to her DURING office hours.
We submitted a few maintenance requests, but they either just marked them as "completed" without fixing the issues or only did 1 of the many things in the work order and called it finished. I submitted 1 request when I moved in, and it was not done when I moved ...

They were very unreliable during emergencies. They couldn't even install the washer properly, and it flooded my apartment TWICE!! When we called for emergency maintenance, they gave us a vacuum to clean up ourselves.
The maintenance guy is a liar. He kept telling us that he was stopping by on a certain date, but he never showed up. Or when we asked him for one thing, he brought us something else. This happened a few times.
They refused to do anything about noisy neighbors. I have contacted them multiple times about the neighbor playing loud trash mumble rap and yelling like crazy throughout the day and even late at night. They either said they would contact the lousy neighbor or just ignored my emails. This had been going on since I moved in and was not resolved after I moved out.
The front and back doors have huge gaps at the bottom. When they renovated the hallway and the stairs, the whole apartment was filled with dust. When I emailed them asking if they could do anything about the gaps, they said there was nothing they could do, not even an apology.
They took some of our deposits without sending us an itemized list. When I called, they gave me the run-around and provided a different answer EACH time.
Overall, both the front office lady and the maintenance guy can't do their jobs well and are liars.

i have been living here since March of 2021, when i moved in i was 7 months pregant i told them that, my ac has been broke since then i have called they claimed its fixed works 1 day then stops working, it is now June 2021 almost July and its still broke and i have an almost 2 month old baby, its 81 degrees in my apartment and they have disconnected emergency mantince number so i have to wait until monday to get any help

I am currently a tenant here at Birches Apartment. I've been living here for a year and a 1/2 now and since I moved in everything that was promised to me and my family was not performed. There were roaches that was supposed to be eliminated the 1st month we got here. It's been 2 years now and now they overrun the apartment. I cannot cook without killing a dozen of roaches in my kitchen nor take a shower without seeing a roach next to me. There is garbage around where I live and also the walls are ...
so thin that You can hear everything that goes on inside the apartment. I will not recommend anyone to live here it's like living in a dump. I am reporting this apartment to housing authority because of my condition and unsatisfact'ry. We don't even have a property manager to talk to about the issues and the main office refused to pick up the phone. There is a big hole in the back yard. I can not express how much I LOVE these apartments. The new landlord or whatever u call it is amazing!!! He treats everybody with respect and dignity plus he loves my cooking lol but he very understanding and compassionate and he actually listen not because its his job but because he actually cares. I recommend this to every college student that is just starting off and couples who are looking for their first apartment.

I was in the office today talking to the manager. I wanted to let him know what a great job Alvin does when I call in a work order. He takes care of everything and he is very nice. I have lived places where maintenance was nasty and it took forever to get work done.
I had a issue that took a couple of days and I called the manager. He was so apologetic and made no excuses. He toled me that we had the ticket and that we accidentally skipped it. He don't give you no excuses like the last one. He ...

I am looking for an apartment for my mother that is safe and on the first floor. Last week, we went to The Birches The leasing manager was so sweet to my mother. Last week he only had an apartment on the second floor. She can't do that. He said he wanted her to see an apartment and if we took our time, would she be able to make it to the top floor. He knew my mom did not have a cell phone.He asked for my number. Today, he is the only one that called me back.He called me by my Maiden name because he did not get my married name, but I could have cared less. He apologized that he has been so busy, he said he would have called earlier. but my mother never left his mind. He let me know that he still did not have a first floor apartment for her, but she was on his mind and let me know that she was on his wait list and he was going continue to touch base. I was elated, it was clear he cared.. I told him I wanted to call his corporate office and let them know how happy they should be to have him. He said he would be happy to give the number, but it would mean so much more if I left a review so that I can share my experience with others. He REALLY wanted a review. Been here about 8 months, I intentionally waited this long to do an honest review. Aside from the other reviews my experience here has been very pleasant. I’ve had no bug issues and no maintenance issues. The one time I had to call Maitenance was to be issued a new air filter and the request was handled in an hour or so. I rarely hear m neighbors and when I see them they always speak. The staff is pleasant and the area is safe. Lots of space to walk dogs and it’s close to the major highways.

Waste of time & money

Was denied because of misdemeanor driving charges almost 10 years ago. Not because of unpaid rent or anything of that source but driving. What this has to do with renting an apartment is unclear to me...especially when you make over 3 times the rent. That $70 application fee could have went somewhere else.
