Location is great. Apartment is average/below average. property owner (katz) and management are terrible.

1. location is great. Near lake, downtown, grocery, etc. 2. apartments are recently renovated for looks. what I mean is the kitchen has new cabinets and appliances. New flooring. All cheap made to look good. Bathroom walls still bleed yellow. So I'm confident they make the cheapest repairs/upgrades they can. Great for someone that doesn't really care, like a college student. 3. Mold was an issue. 4. Cockroaches were an issue. 5. Took 8 months to get my deposit back because it "got lost in the ...

mail, and we're waiting for it to return to sender." Had to file with BBB and threaten with a lawyer. 6. Rent was a little high for the crappyness of the apartment. I needed a place fast, so this had to work. In short, if you know your in it for a short lease and know your going to commit to that lease, it's fine. Just know if you need to break your lease or want a clean building, not for you.
