      • Don't Rent Here Management is Awful

        In my years renting I have never had such an awful management company. Every notice to enter your apartment comes with a legal threat. They say animal friendly but served a notice when my cat went outside without a leash. It's a cat. They treat tenants like scum. I pay my rent on time, don't cause issues around the property, am not noisy and yet they treat us like the absolute worst renters in the world. Have no idea why they are like this. Save yourself the aggravation and live somewhere else.

      • Terrible Management

        Management is incompetent and terrible. They lack any ability to do anything. Good example, I got home one night and someone is in my parking spot. I called the tow company since the management was not open, tow company said management can only do it. I called management the next morning to tow. They said they need to give the car 72 hours to move. They refused to do anything. Their maintenance staff is unkempt. They do not wear booties or any other protective stuff and they will track dirt in ...
        your apartment. If you say just request it, I do every time. I even leave booties at the front door. They don't follow any lease guidelines. We followed, per lease on hanging lights. They harass us every few months. We show them the lease where we are compliant, but they do not respond. This is not a luxury apartment, this is at best a mid-level apartment with cheap fixtures and appliances in the house. This place is not a good place to live, and I highly recommend you do not live here.

        Counting down the days until I am done with this retched place. Management is horrible and the accounting is almost non existent with all the errors that are each monthly bill. I highly suggest you look else where because here its all about finding ways to charge you more.

      • An older property, great location, but rent has become overpriced...

        A quiet apartment complex located near Old Town Scottsdale, easy access to nearby Tempe & Phoenix. A resident for 4 years in which time interior upgrades of kitchen appliances, cabinets, & flooring have been completed for most units, resulting in an "upgrade" in rent which is not commensurate. As such, I am looking to relocate when my lease expires. Also, property was sold a few years ago, and the new property management team has some leadership "issues". They have definitely gone from a rating ...
        of "Good" a few short years ago, to a charitable "Fair" in my opinion.

      • You get what you pay for

        Sycamore at Scottsdale is a nice place to live. It's close to Old Town, good restaurants, Fashion Square Mall, Camelback Mountain, etc. It's one of the cheaper apartments in Old Town. We've been there a few years, and we pay about ~$1260 for a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom for rent, water, sewer, and trash. Most other places rent for a 3 bedroom starts at $1500 . However, the buildings are so old.. In our first unit, the air went out 3 times and they ended up putting a new AC unit on it finally. This new ...
        upgraded model unit we live in is nice, but air went out 4 times so far in the last couple months. If you have a west facing unit on the second floor, expect HIGH SRP bills. It's a joke to try and keep it cool with the vaulted ceilings. Management changes so often, I couldn't tell you whose actually on staff, but when we need them, they seem to be nice and get stuff done.

      • Great location!!

        I love living at the Sycamore at Scottsdale. There is a free trolley that travels throughout Scottsdale. I am ten minutes from downtown Phoenix, five minutes from Sky Harbor airport and a short walk to historic Old Town Scottsdale. There is a nice gym in the complex as well as a dog park for my pup! The kitchen has been remodeled in most units, so that is a huge plus. Overall, I very happy with my apartment!
