HORRIBLE
November 3, 2024Do not rent from here ever!!! Not only do they have cockroaches..you can’t get ahold of anyone. Maintenance never comes. Flooding every winter when the pipes burst over and over. Have to call fire department to turn off the water because maintenance won’t come. Property management charges fees that are not on the lease and when you try to call about the fees they won’t call you back. The office won’t take rent and can’t answer any questions about the rent. You are forced to pay or be evicted. And ...it’s over 500 dollars a month in fees that are unexpected and not on the lease. Had to call property management’s lawyer to break the lease. Could not speak to them directlyRead MoreReview from Apartments.com
Not recommend
October 15, 2022This is a horrible apartment to live at. Lots of cockroachs. They come to spray about once a month. Gunshots are frequently heard, and police are a regular visitor. Domestic violence will keep you up at night. "Secure" front door is always propped open which allows homeless and violent people in to come and harass you. I would NOT recommend living here unless you are desperate for housing. The 2 bedroom apt is large but will be dirty upon move in (unless previous tenant cleaned it)Review from Apartments.com

Nice place
August 12, 2016I have been living in these apartments for almost a year now and I have not had any problems that wasn't resolved in a timely manner. Although the apartments are pretty average and the cost of living has risen pretty much everywhere, they are comfortable and manageable. The building is old so its a little rundown but the new owner has been doing a good job of getting it back up to par, just takes time. If you are looking for a fancy or extravagant place, well I hear The Broadmoor have a few ...openings. As for the neighborhood, you find crime everywhere, if you lived in this neighborhood back in the day, guarantee that you wouldn't have let your children outside for even a minute. They have cleaned it up quite a bit. The management here are very nice and have been understanding and very helpful when I was having a little financial trouble. As long as you are upfront and honest with them and not trying to get over on somebody. As far as maintenance, the guy we have now is wonderful. Sometimes he has a lot of work orders and it may take a day or two (depending on the priority of the situation), but he always gets to it. As for people saying that weird things would come up missing or moved, well lets just say that is another reason this maintenance guy is awesome because he is very respectful and a hard worker. As for kids, there is no playground on grounds but there are two school playgrounds and a park in walking distance that our kids love to go to, to play basketball, tennis or on the swing sets. So again if you are yuppy, this is not a place for you, but if you are looking for a warm and comfortable place to call home where people pretty much keep to themselves, this may be the place for you!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
So hear me out.
November 5, 2015I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody, though if you're desperate it happens. The place doesn't look bad, the lights are on most of the time outside. Things leak, gunshots are common to hear, and domestic violence seems to be a trend in this building. The price isn't worth the place, but there aren't any bugs. The neighborhood is sketchy, the locals won't hesitate to check your car's locks. There's a small patch of packed mud in the back as a facility for you dog, which is nice, since there ...are needles among the litter in the grass lining the street out front. Oddly enough, I've heard complaints that silly things have gone missing from their apartments. For example food from their fridge, basic things being moved around like remotes and dirtied dishes being left behind. I have encountered my door being opened, multiple times, as if somebody was checking to see if somebody was in there to close it or not. I know our door was locked on some of those occasions, I don't know what that says for their "custodians". Problems in the building aren't ignored, though the maintenance is a joke. Shattering panes of glass at 6:30 in the morning in and around the dumpster. 3 weeks to a month spent carpeting three hallways and 4 sets of short stairs, never cleaning up their work leaving tack strips through out and loose carpet about. There are abandoned cars in the parking lot, from the same people, but still there after about a month of abandonment. Again, if you're desperate it's somewhere warm to stay during the winter. But don't expect a pleasant experience. Oh yea, and if you have kids, I wouldn't let them play outside. Most of the places they'll find themselves playing in have broken glass, and garbage, as well as the occasional needle. P.S. If you hear screaming outside you're window, turn your t.v off, it'll probably be the entertainment you were looking for on your television.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
