Bad Management

Our experience with the apartment complex management has been extremely disappointing.The front office consistently fails to send maintenance personnel to address issues in our apartment. Yesterday, our air conditioning system malfunctioned and went down, and with the temperature soaring to 92 degrees, it has become unbearable. Whenever I contacted the front desk, their response was consistently unhelpful, claiming there's nothing they can do except put us on a list. Moreover, when we report ...

other maintenance problems, they promise we will send someone, but I have to request the same issue 100 times. If I want to see the manager of Front Disk, she acts like the President of the United States. During this year, I was not able to see her.In general, their behavior is very misbehaviorous. When I requested maintenance online, by walk-and-call, they responded with a quick response within 1-2 hours, but in reality, it takes them weeks to take any action. Their attitude comes across as uncooperative and domineering, leaving us feeling powerless and frustrated."Anyway, I'll find another place to live.

The ladies at the office are very friendly and attentive, maintenance working hard to fix all the issues. And we have pest control every Thursday. Keep it up Vive Apartments and if people don’t like it here there’s tons of other apartments in San Antonio, just keeping it real.

Hot water, Pests, Neighbors, no response from front desk

Have lived here for 6 years and I cannot bear this any more. I have 2 year old who gets sick often and most days there is no hot water, pest control is non existent though we pay for it every month. Leasing office is just screening messages via voicemail to avoid residents who complain and call back only potential new leases.

I have lived here since January 2021 and as time has progressed its gotten worse. The water situation is so bad. This month alone I think I have had my water shut off almost every other day and half the time the hot water doesn't work either. They send an email saying they'll turn it on by the end of that day or the following day, but it's never true. I have had three weekends in a row where I can't even shower after getting home from a long day sweating at work because there's no water. This ...

complex used to be called villas del cabo, but they changed the name because the situation is that bad. I put in a pest control request and nothing has been done. I put in a request since January for a hole in my ceiling that leaks water on me in the kitchen and nothing has been done about it. This place is a nightmare and I feel like pulling my hair out with the stress living here gives me. Doing this to your tenants shouldn't be legal. DONT RENT HERE!!! find other properties that are better for the same price.

From day one I've had problems. the process was easy but that was it. the management doesn't care for the property. There's new management and they don't care either because there are no changes in the property. The roaches are horrible. There is garbage everywhere. The dumpsters are always full. There are cats at every corner. The amount of money you pay is so much to have such a crappy way of living. It's all not worth it.

This is not a good property to live.

This property recently changed owners.When it was the last owner it was alright.Now that there is a new owner they keep shutting off the water.They shut off the water last week and they left it off the whole night.Usually when a property shuts off the water they turn it back on no later than the 8 p.m. hour.This is the first time I know of a property to do that. I was very disappointed since the day we moved in to this place. There is a roach infestation that cannot be terminated with anything. We tried a lot of different things and they never went away. Even though I tried to be very clean, I couldn’t even leave a plate on the sink by mistake because they were going to be there in seconds. Not to mention that I had to have my plates, skillets, utensils, etc inside boxes because if I got to leave them outside, there were going be a lot of roaches poop ...

on top of them. It is disgusting and frustrating to live like that. That’s why we just lived there for a year. I don’t understand how people get used to that. But please go and try to look for a newer place. Don’t waste your money living under these conditions. Besides waisting your money, it is really unhealthy and unsanitary.

I have been living there for 3 years now. Management has changed only twice in those three years. Management is very good. I love the maintenance and staff they all take time to learn everyone's name. You also feel safe there because they have security guards there. I love it there.
