Write a ReviewCincinnati apartment-ites in search of some decent nightlife have a pleasant pool to choose from when night falls, but where can they go if they're in the mood for some real, authentic English beer, paired with some delicious grub and atmosphere that will sweep you away to the merry isles? Step right up to the Cock and Bull Pub, where the beers are poured freely and plentifully, the food is cooked just like they're meant to be, and the people are as warm and friendly as any you'd hope to meet in the city. Whether you're looking for a strong dose of Guinness and some Fish and Chips, a Bass and burger, or just a quick sip of a Belhaven, they've got you covered at the Cock and Bull. Pubs never get very far without a great selection of beers and some delectable, varied eatables. The menu at the Cock and Bull brings to mind the authentic, hearty food that you'd find in many of the public houses around London or Dublin, and each dish is made with just as much care and finesse. Start out your meal with some delicious chicken tenders, jalapenos cheese sticks, or a big, soft Bavarian pretzel, or try one of the house specialties, including the Bull's Long Late Nighter, club style tarkey, ham, bacon and cheeses rolled in a flour tortilla and deep fried, or the King's Tower, a mountain of scrumptious onion rings that would make the king of England blush. If that still doesn't tickle your taste buds, you can try their sweet potato chips, made fresh and piping hot right when you order. There are also a number of delicious salads or soups to choose from, including the legendary Crock of Bull, their delicious chili brimming high with cheese and onions. Of course, the star attraction here is the Fish and Chips. Voted best in the city on numerous occasions by several different outlets, included America Online, you're not likely to find a better serving anywhere else in town. They even pare it down if you cant handle an entire heaping helping (which, like the fish and chips of Britain are famous for, always come plentiful), and even serve up their delicious fish in a tasty fish sandwich. It's not all about the fish, however, you choose from any number of delicious wraps, sandwiches, burgers, even steaks and chops. No matter who you are, you'll find something to tempt the taste buds. Aside from the delicious food, Cock and Bull also has a great selection beers, both from at home and abroad, several of which are on draught, also well as a fine selection of wines to choose from. No matter what you're coming for, you'll find something to your liking at The Cock and Bull Pub, and it'll be hard to go away without having a fantastic time. Cock and Bull transports you to the shores of jolly old England, all without have to stray too far from your Cincinnati apartment.
