Renters Reviews and Ratings
Stay far way- this place is a nightmare!
April 19, 2026I lived at this property from February 2024 through February 2026. I rarely leave bad reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others. The property was in poor condition when I moved in. The unit was dirty, not properly prepared for occupancy, and the property overall was poorly maintained. Trash issues, plumbing problems, peeling paint, and unfinished repairs were constant. In December 2024, the property was sold to a new owner. Unfortunately, conditions became worse, not better. Communication ...from management was poor throughout my tenancy. Construction and maintenance would begin with little or no warning. Landscaping would be removed, parking blocked off, and sidewalks closed without notice. There were weeks of noise, plumbing work, and disruption with almost no communication to residents. Trash and cigarette butts were constantly scattered around the property. Some of the issues I experienced included: • An AC leak in June 2024 that flooded my dining room and kitchen and was never properly repaired • Unsafe electrical conditions, including a light switch inside the shower area • Repeated sewage backups on sidewalks and walkways for months • Removal of the on-site washers and dryers with no replacement • Strong chemical fumes from neighboring work • Unsafe and obstructed walkways from plumbing construction • A refrigerator and freezer that did not maintain safe temperatures for over a month • Plumbing backups affecting my sink and dishwasher • Parking lot resurfacing and parking disruption with no notice • Code enforcement notices posted on occupied units for extended periods Most significantly, my unit flooded again on February 6, 2026 due to known plumbing issues in a neighboring unit that management had reportedly known about for over a month. When the carpet was pulled back after the flooding, there was visible mold and evidence of long-standing moisture beneath the flooring. The flooring was deteriorating from water damage and some of my personal property was damaged as well. The biggest concern is mold. Moisture problems seemed widespread and long-standing. Check the air vents and flooring carefully. Ultimately, the flooding, mold, lack of repairs, and lack of communication forced me to move out at significant expense at the end of my lease. To be fair, I did eventually receive my security deposit back. However, I would strongly encourage anyone considering renting here to ask detailed questions and document everything.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
