Nice Property. Bad Communication. Kept my $210.
June 11, 2024I didn't want to leave a review about this matter, but I feel like this is warranted. I toured this property about a month ago and really liked it. I applied almost 2 weeks ago to this property on 5/29. On May 31st I called to see if there was any movement on my application. I finally got someone on the line and was told that I needed to submit paystubs and was told that it typically takes 24 to 48 hours to get an approval. I was setup to move from my current residence on 6/13, so I figured ...that is still plenty of enough time to get approved. Tuesday comes and I happen to check the status of my application online via THEIR portal and I see that my application is APPROVED. I tried to call them to get the next steps. I wasn't able to reach anyone on that Tuesday. Finally on Friday morning 6/7/2024, I was able to reach Alicia. I explained to her that I was approved for the apartment, in which she explained to me that I was in fact NOT approved just yet because there was a discrepancy in my paycheck stubs, I was pretty confused but at this point because I submitted it all and it's Friday and I'm on a time crunch. Alicia also told me that my credit check came back clear, but that I showed to owe a balance under $1000 to a previous property. I asked her what would that mean for me and my application with Ariana Cypress. She told me that my deposit would just be equal to the first months rent. She told me that she would reach by out to me by end of day that day to let me know what's going on. I got no callback. Now it's 6/10/2024 and I'm suppose to be moved out on 6/13 at my current place. I called their office that morning and spoke to someone. I let her know the situation and that I've been waiting now for almost 2 weeks and I'm not sure what's going on. She told me she would call me back. A few hours later, she called and brought up the balance that I owed. I told her that Alicia said that I just had to pay that higher deposit. The woman put me on hold to speak with Alicia, who verified what I said EXCEPT now I was being told that I had to pay a full months rent PLUS the base deposit of $500 PLUS the prorated rent amount. After that she asked if I wanted to cancel the application. I don't just have an extra $1000. I had to tell her to cancel the application. I asked if any of the $210 that I paid was refundable and she told me no. Now I have to scramble to figure out where to live in 3 days and I'm out $210 for something that took two weeks.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
No rent
March 17, 2024If I could mention the experience in those apartments, it is the worst I have had in my life. I rented a unit in those apartments and they were delivered to me in those conditions. The carpet had not been vacuumed or vacuumed, unpainted damp rubber with cobwebs in all the corners, the smell of dog pee, the tub with rust, I could go on and on mentioning all the things that were in very terrible condition. unlivable conditions. I tried to resolve it with the manager and escalated the problem with ...the supervisor and she promised to repair everything and in the end I was left with a high humidity smell of mold and only expenses for double moving and they remained the same with their poor customer service and their poor team. work from your service agents to your managers. I do not recommend even stopping to ask, you will only waste your time and money. avoid discomfort. I conclude by saying that I moved on the 12th and left on the 14th.Property Manager Responded

DO NOT RENT HERE...YOU WILL REGRET IT!
August 17, 2021DO NOT RENT HERE! BELIEVE THE 1-STAR REVIEWS... I have lived at this complex during three different complex names. When it was new and known as The Bellagio...then years later again as Avana Cypress Estates...and now, unfortunately as Ariana Cypress Estates. This will be my last time. My lease is over in one week and it cannot come soon enough. Since Adara Communities took over the property, the entre place has gone downhill from management to the amount of trash around the property. Beware
November 27, 20201. Garage and Apartment were dirty upon move in. As it was July 5th following the holiday, I had to clean myself as there were no staff to do so until the following week. 2. I did my move in inspection, noting many items that were dirty, broke, scratched and the paint chipping and peeling throughout. Even throughout my lease, they had to repaint several items as it continued to peel and bleed through stains. The carpet was also noted to be stained in many areas. The bathtub peeled and cracked as ...well. While maintenance fixed items, it continued to occur and be problematic. 3. At my 12th month, my insurance auto renewed and I provided 3 separate emailed copies of the rider, as well as 2 hard copies hand delivered to the office. However, they continued to charge me a fee stating that I didn’t have insurance for the remainder of my lease. 4. At move out, I received a letter stating I owed a significant amount of money for those items already noted on my move in. I phoned the manager and was told, “ sorry, I will look into this as well as why we keep charging you a fee for insurance when you clearly have it.” She said to give her a few days and she would update the move out. 5.
