I live at the Oaks. Super friendly neighbors. Quiet. Well kept grounds. Spacious for the price. Great location. Dog park. Covered parking. Leasing staff is amazing in person- slow w email. Maintenance team is usually on it until recently. They fixed a water bubble in my bathroom without leaving a notice behind, but they made sure to leave a mess behind. Mold was growing in my den which has since been cleaned off and repainted( did the same w the water bubble). Not sure where the mold ...

originated, but give it a while and I’m sure it’ll be back. Fyi, I was told upon move in to try not to do anything drastic to the walls which can let mold in.. I get it, older apartments, but kill the mold at the source, stop placing a bandaid on it. I’m sure I don’t know what’s involved when I say that, but sounds like a health risk.. I can’t say for certain, but w plenty of weird patchy places on my ceiling, this isn’t the first time and probably won’t be the last. Marijuana smells fill my apt every now and again- I may as well be smoking mysef. I’ve witnessed an ant line on the outside brick going towards the apt above me.. in another instance, weird bugs, including ants were in my closet on the wall going towards my upstairs neighbor as well. Just my candid review of one complex this community offers- not the end of the world. I’ll be here a year, nice place to start, but many ppl have been here a while.

I couldn't have asked for a better first apartment for my boyfriend and myself. I'm sure he feels the same. We've only lived here for about four or five months, but Jennifer has been top notch since we moved in. She remembers our names from when she helped sign us up and where we live; if I have to pick up a package from the front office, she's already seen my car and is retrieving the package before I walk in the front office. have all lived at the complex for more than a year (a lot of the residents are long-time residents, too; don't fix what ain't broken, right?). One of them is even an Addison police officer, which is also something that I love about this complex: with the police station and the fire department being so close by, this is where a lot of first responders call home. There are about SEVEN dog parks the size of tennis courts, next to actual tennis courts. Amazing pools. It's in a really quiet area. All the windows just got replaced, and they're the best things ever. Double-pane (quieeeeet), energy-efficient, perfect seals, so easy to open, beautiful faux wood slat blinds to cover them. I bought curtains thinking I'd need them, but the blinds do a great job of keeping light out. Everything works wonderfully in my apartment, I've never had a bug problem. I had an extremely clean apartment moving in with the most beautiful laminate wood floors. I'm SO thankful we chose these apartments. We probably won't leave here until we move into a house.

I have had my share of bad experiences with apartments. Bent Tree communities have been the best experience. The staff are amazing and will assist you every chance they can. They are always having community events. It's very quite and my neighbors are absolute amazing. I feel like it's a home and family. Everything is always clean and tidy.
